Some ski movies cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and require huge crews. Then some, like ‘Good Enuf,’ are shot on whatever camera’s in your pocket, and edited to music you don’t have the rights to.
You don’t need to be a pro to make a super sick ski and snowboard edit. All you need are some good ski friends, a couple of cameras, and the will to totally send it.
And, of course, some perfect powder to kick things into gear.
Those simple, pure ingredients went into “Good Enuf,” a short ski edit that follows a bunch of friends as they rip it up in Montana. They throw superman front flips off of hand-built booters. They charge steeps, carve bottomless powder, eat shit, and through it all, have a ton of fun.
“Good Enuf” is really best summed up by its YouTube description: “It’s not great, but it’s good enough. Just a bunch of friends in Montana making a ski movie that we can watch when we’re old.”
It’s not one of those big-budget, high-production ski movies you’re used to seeing from companies like TGR and Matchstick Productions. But that’s really its charm.
