Hilly, Mud-splattered, Leg-Crushing... Gravel Road Racing gettin' huge

Gravel road racing has gotten big. We’ve been pedaling the bumpy, hilly courses on races like the Almanzo 100 and the Ragnarok 105 here in Minnesota for a few years. This spring, I am personally signed up for the Almanzo 100 and TransIowa. Other GJ staffers are getting ready to ride the long, gravely road, too, on a handful of country road competitions. We dug in to see what else was on the gravel calendar this year. . . and we came away a bit floored. More than 100 gravel races have cropped up across the U.S. Iowa-based bike mechanic and race organizer “Guitar Ted” of Gravel Grinder News has another resource for all your gravel ambitions.
