From slot canyons of the Wadi Rum desert to ancient ruins, the Kingdom of Jordan is a wild and amazing place. A new film about the country sponsored by Columbia Sportswear, ‘I Am #OMNITEN,’ premiers tonight in Minneapolis.

The hour-long documentary film hops around adventure hot spots of the nation and “tells the story of ten ordinary people doing extraordinary things,” according to Columbia.

I can attest to the country’s propensity to amaze; last year I trekked and canyoneered in Jordan, reporting for the blog with articles including Into the Depths: ‘Wadi Ghwayr’ Canyon Trek” and “Dress for a Desert Trek in Jordan.”
