Today, Mammut announced an all-inclusive, learn to ski or ride scholarship to help reduce the barrier of entry into snowsports and the greater outdoors.

Mammut just announced a great scholarship opportunity for those looking to get into winter sports. In partnership with Copper Mountain, it’s created a Learn to Ski or Ride Scholarship — an all-inclusive package for the scholarship winner and their lucky plus-one.

“At Mammut, we recognize that there are significant barriers to entry into the arena of snowsports,” said Nora Fierman, marketing manager at Mammut. “We aspire to make the outdoors accessible to everyone and hope that this scholarship will assist in facilitating this for two individuals.”

And hopefully, the scholarship doesn’t stop there. The more people who experience snowsports, the more diverse and better overall our outdoor community can be.

Itching for details? Here’s what you can look forward to.

The scholarship prize will give the winning recipient (and a plus-one!) a full learn to ski or snowboard experience. This includes two full-day lessons, equipment rentals, dining vouchers, lodging at Copper Mountain Resort, and more.

When it comes to dressing for success, Mammut is helping out with that too. The scholarship winner also gets two outerwear Mammut kits and a custom shopping experience at the new Mammut Education Center at Copper Mountain.

“At Copper Mountain, we pride ourselves on our educational programs and are always looking for ways to make skiing and snowboarding more accessible,” said Taylor Prather, Copper’s communications manager. “We are excited to help support our partner, Mammut, on their new scholarship program.”
