More on the Prize Package
The Strafe men’s and women’s Trail to Summit kits include several performance layers with cooling technology. These are made with brrrยฐ Triple Chill Effect fabric, which the brand says promotes cooling, active wicking, and faster drying.
The pants and flannel are made with these fabrics and are a lighter-weight material than you’d find in winter apparel. Additionally, several pieces offer sun protection (UPF 50 plus), according to the brand.
The jacket and insulator offer inclement weather protection and warmth, respectively, for four seasons of utility. Each could be worth packing on summer alpine adventures.
Whether you’re on a mountain mission or angling for trout, this prize bundle should literally have you covered.
The Strafe Trail to Summit hiking kit prize packages include the following:
- Scout Jacket: Lightweight (135g) wind/waterproof shell made from Strafe’s 2.5L Recon SHIELD fabric
- Ultralight Aero Insulator: A fast-and-light insulated jacket using top tech for a big warmth-to-weight ratio
- Ridgeline Jogger: A four-way stretch pant made for training and lounging after with brrrยฐ Triple Chill Effect fabric
- Training Short or Skirt: Versatile 7-inch short with a built-in mesh knit liner with a side pocket

- Sopris Sun Hoodie: UPF 50-plus sun protection hoodie with lightweight heather fabric and cooling technology

More on the Brand
Twin brothers John and Pete Gaston founded Strafe in Aspen, Colo., after years of putting gear through the wringer in the Rocky Mountains.
Repeated laps of hiking up and riding down Highlands Bowl inspired the brothers to design and develop apparel that could juggle the demands of breathability, durability, weather protection, warmth, and mobility. They founded Strafe and launched their first line of apparel in 2010.
Since its inception, Strafe has expanded its product line. The brand offers gear aimed at a wide range of mountain disciplines across all four seasons.
