After earning a bachelor’s degree, he went onto a MFA in creative writing in Philadelphia. Once complete, he opted for a cross-country bicycle tour over a career in academia. 7,000 miles later, Schild moved to Colorado, where he’s worked in the outdoor industry since. His personal Interests include adventure travel, backpacking, running, cycling, photography, and music.
