Erik Nohlin, creative leader with Specialized bikes, put out an APB with a $1,000 reward for these super-custom bicycles that were stolen from his garage.
If you’re in San Francisco and you see a bike that looks like it belongs in a museum, it might be stolen.
That’s because between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. on Monday, a thief or thieves broke into Nohlin’s Bernal Heights garage and made off with six custom bicycles. According to Nohlin, the bikes are “extremely unique and easily recognizable.”
And, of course, irreplaceable. Contact Erik.Nohlin@Specialized.com if you have any info on these bikes. For more info, check Nohlin’s Instagram @hellhommus.
Below are details on the stolen bikes, as told by Nohlin. And a note to all readers: Given the value and unique nature of these bikes, they could surface anywhere. So we’re hoping all our readers will keep a lookout for these rides.
