Shot in Palau, this video shows what it’s like to swim through millions of non-stinging jellyfish in the aptly-named Jellyfish Lake.
The creatures evolved after being cut off from the ocean an estimated 12,000 years ago, and today they have stinging cells too small to be felt by humans.
Swimming in the lake is permitted. SCUBA is not as it could disrupt the ecology of the lake.
The video is a reminder of the wonderful world in which we live. Looks like another place to visit and add to the long and growing list.
