Did this really happen? The perma-stoked surfer says he paddled out from ‘every beach town’ in New Jersey in one day.

If it’s a wave that’s physically possible to surf, Ben Gravy will surf it. That’s not even a platitude; in fact, the biggest reason he’s famous is that he’s the first person to surf in all 50 states. Yes, that includes Kansas. And as someone who grew up there, I can tell you it’s highly bereft of anything resembling a surfable wave.

So maybe it’s not much of a surprise that Gravy spent a day drifting down the Jersey shore, surfing every single beach burg in the state.

But that doesn’t mean it’s any less fun to watch him do it.
