The [As One] line honors U.S. communities devastated by natural disasters this year.
Hurricanes and wildfires have dominated headlines and wrought destruction across the U.S. and its territories this year. As this month’s wildfires raged across southern California, performance apparel brand Buff found itself squarely in the crosshairs of disaster.
When the blaze swept within two miles of its Santa Rosa, Calif., headquarters, Buff shuttered its offices for a week. As a result, Buff this week announced the launch of the [As One] collection, four new designs that depict areas struck by wildfires and hurricanes this year. As part of the campaign, Buff will donate 100 percent of profits from the [As One] line to the Red Cross.
Buff [As One] Collection Benefits Red Cross
The new Buffs depict Houston, Puerto Rico, the Florida Keys, and Sonoma County, Calif. Each [As One] Buff costs $20, with all proceeds benefiting the Red Cross’s work in those areas.
“[As One] celebrates the strength, resilience and unity of affected communities, and thanks to those who provided aid and support,” said Choi Brunetti, Buff’s general manager and vice president.
Buff also said it will donate up to $25,000 during the [As One] campaign, which runs through the holidays. Plus, those interested can donate directly to California’s North Bay Fire Relief.
We love the Buff for active pursuits in both warm and cold weather. So if you’re looking for a solid piece of gear, consider shopping the [As One] collection to put your dollars toward a good cause.
