This website helps you find campsites based on price, terrain, and the best autumn foliage.
Think of it as pumpkin spice for your campsite. Hipcamp’s interactive camp search tool has numerous helpful features. Similar to Airbnb, it allows you to narrow down campsites by date availability, amenities, group size, and more.
But for fall, Hipcamp adds a Fall Foliage filter. With it, you can locate where the best sites are in the U.S. to see nature “on fire,” as it were.
To use it, select the Fall Foliage filter. Then, adjust the slider to change the week you want to view. An interactive map on the right side of the screen shows all the available campsites, and an orange band overlays to show the best autumn colors.
Getting out this weekend? Fall colors are still blazing in the Dakotas, southern Minnesota, Iowa, and the Rust Belt. But those colors are quickly migrating south.
Hop on Hipcamp and see where’s best to enjoy the autumn hues.
