Brooks Running dropped its third annual Run Proud Collection this week, in collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Adam Dalton Blake. The collection showcases designs inspired by surrealism and 1980s boldness, emphasizing “queer joy,” the brand said.
These bold and beautiful Trace 3 running shoes are introduced at $100, featuring updated cushioning and an air mesh upper. There’s also the super-colorful Ghost Lite Crew 2-Pack socks, available for $24.
Brooks continues its partnership with International Front Runners, a running organization aligned with making running more inclusive for LGBTQ+ runners and allies, by donating running gear and $50,000.
Beaverlab Excope DT1
Beaverlab has already raked in over $300,000 of Kickstarter money with the Excope DT1, an optical instrument that transforms any smartphone into a high-performance ultra-telephoto camera.
The device has a 400mm focal length lens, capable of magnifying distant objects up to 200 times. That means photographers could capture images of lunar craters or birds in flight from miles away while maintaining clarity, the company claims.
The Excope DT1 comes equipped with a 48-megapixel high-resolution image sensor for detailed closeups. it also allows for image cropping with minimal quality loss. Advanced image processing and AI anti-shake technology work together to reduce blur. The campaign has swiftly surpassed $382,000, with the basic early bird package available at $220.

Chaco already makes some of the best sandals around — but now the brand has released a “Super Chaco.”
OK, so that’s my description, but the Rapid Pro is supposedly an upgrade from the company’s beloved Z/1 sandal. U.S. National Ski Hall of Famer Glen Plake now has some original shades through a collaboration with Pit Viper. The skier known for his multicolored mohawk introduces the Mohawker Clawdia, a pair of sunglasses inspired by his distinctive style and priced at $70.
The design features a reverse fade for shielding the eyes when looking up, as well as providing clear vision on the downhill. They come with rubberized touchpoints for a secure fit and anchor points with tie-downs for additional security. Plake’s creation started as a playful concept that evolved into a modern take on the cat-eye design.

Columbia River Knife & Tool (CRKT) marks its 30th anniversary with the launch of the Soldotna, a U.S.-manufactured, fixed-blade hunting knife. Crafted in collaboration with outdoorsman and craftsman Russ Kommer, this all-purpose hunting knife has a 3.5-inch drop-point blade designed for versatility, from skinning to precise cutting.
It’s also available in two models. The cheaper option offers a carbon steel blade and micarta handle for $200. A limited-edition version, with a walnut handle and Damascus steel pattern, costs $500 and is only available on CRKT.com. The limited run includes just 200 pieces.
MEC Dynomite Climbing Pant
Looking for a new pair of stellar climbing pants? The Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) just dropped its Dynomite Climbing Pant, and it looks pretty sweet.
Crafted from a cotton, nylon, and elastane blend, the pants are designed to withstand the rigors of both indoor and outdoor climbing. They feature four-way stretch fabric and articulated patterning that supposedly aids climbers during challenging sections.
