A film from Orvis, Captains for Clean Waters, Trout Unlimited, the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, and others tackles two huge conservation crises of our time.

This half-hour film showcases the breadth, beauty, and crises in two disparate but equally impressive landscapes.

A fishing guide named John Landry sits at the helm of the film. Splitting his time between Florida and Alaska, Landry sees firsthand the elegance and issues facing both the Everglades and Bristol Bay.

The decimation of the Everglades can potentially be rectified by simple reallocation of water. On the other hand, Bristol Bay is not yet being decimated but it is under threat of the oft-discussed Pebble Mine, an open-pit gold and copper mine that the Trump Administration has yet to decisively stop.

Bringing light to both of these subjects in one film is a bit of a haul, but it works. The notion that “everyone in between” these places should stand up for them is one to listen to. And the brands and nonprofits suggest you take action for the Everglades here and for Bristol Bay here.
