At D16, Storm Giant is a brutally tough ascent. It passes about 50 quickdraws over 80 meters and most of the climbing is upside-down.
Gord McArthur took three years to complete the first ascent of Storm Giant in British Columbia. This video from Outdoor Research tells the story.
Though the video calls it a “mixed route,” it looks like a drytooling route the whole way through. And the D16 grade supports that.
