A leaked video from Rivian’s PR firm shows off a crazy new turn-on-a-dime feature that will debut on the R1T and R1S. Rivian plans to launch the all-electric, all-wheel-drive vehicles by the end of 2020.

Rivian CEO R.J. Scaringe talked about the new zero turning radius feature late last year. The automaker has also filed trademarks for both “Tank Turn” and “Tank Steer.” This is a feature we’re very likely to see on a production vehicle soon.

The AWD, independent-motor-driven wheels on the all-electric Rivian vehicles should allow for this impressive zero-radius turn. It will take some smart computers to work it out, but it should work with a couple wheels going backward while a couple go forward.

The “tread lightly” ethos of off-roading is out the window with this feature, but parking lot donuts will never be the same!
