Reebok revives a sneaker of sneakerheads’ past with the Instapump Fury Prototype. A nod to the Instapump Fury OG, the Fury Prototype uses Reebok’s classic pump technology to fill air channels, mimicking the effect of laces. Now if that sounds high-tech, imagine the tech around in 1994 — the original release of the Fury OG. Reebok releases the Instapump Fury Prototype on March 22 for $200.
Kokopelli Recon
Put in at your favorite river with the Recon Packraft from Kokopelli. Not your typical packraft, the Recon is built for durability. Instead of the fast-and-light ethos packrafting is known for, the Recon uses PVC construction for durability yet handles like lighter boats. It weighs 18.5 pounds and is manageable solo, according to the brand. The Recon is available March 29 for $810.
Yamaha Wabash
Ride gravel fast with the Yamaha Wabash, the brand’s foray into the growing gravel cycling and e-bike categories. Designed and developed from frame to motor by Yamaha, the Wabash is a class 1 power-assist electric bike. The motor can support speed up to 20 mph, cadence to 110 rpm, and a max power output of 500 watts. Available in a latte color scheme, the Wabash is available at retailers now for $3,499.
NEMO Airpin Ultralight Stakes
Say goodbye to knots when setting up the guylines on your tent with NEMO’s new Airpin Ultralight Stakes. Designed with a three-point locking system that you just have to drape the cord around, the Airpin locks down easily. To use, just loop the guyline around the constricting points on the Airpin. NEMO additionally tapered the aluminum stake to make it easier to sink into the ground and managed to cut the weight down to 10 grams per stake. The brand sells the Airpin in sets of two for $10 and sets of four for $19.
Swiss Army Alox Champagne Gold
Bling out in Victorinox Swiss Army’s latest Alox color, Champagne Gold. Swiss Army draped its Alox collection, known for having metal “scales” on the handle, in gold for 2019 only. In the Alox multitool collection is the Classic Alox ($37) with blade, nail file, screwdriver, and more; the Cadet Alox ($48) with a larger blade, bottle opener, can opener, and more; and the Pioneer Alox ($52) with a blade, reamer, punch, screwdrivers, and more.

Expanding off its first in-house release, Backcountry.com launches its 2019 line with a climbing collection. It includes a climbing pack collaboration with Black Diamond, a rope collaboration with Edelweiss, a Metolius collab in the Party Pit Crash Pad, and a So iLL Hangboard. The collaborative releases come in conjunction with apparel releases designed for climbing. Backcountry.com makes the gear with Cordura fabrics for durability. But it doesn’t stop at climbing. Throughout 2019, Backcountry.com will additionally release bike-, snow-, and travel-specific collections.
OOFOS Footwear
Alleviate foot, ankle, and back pain with OOFOS Footwear. While a big claim, the brand says its proprietary OOfoam has what it takes to cushion your foot and absorb impact. OOFOS’ OOfoam is designed to displace energy to the side as opposed to back up in the body. The foam results in 37 percent more impact absorption than traditional EVA. This means with each step, the impact travels less up your body and more into the shoes. New for the brand, the OOmg is available in new colors for women and new mesh options for men.

Leave the yoga studio without leaving that plush feeling under your toes in Sanuk’s latest release, the Yoga Sling 3. Sanuk crafts the Yoga Sling 3 with real yoga mats for footbeds and redesigns the sling for its third iteration to cuddle your feet in place.
