Until November 10, Snow Peak USA will thank its loyal fans and customers with a special 20-percent-off sale — on everything — both in stores and online. The brand was founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1999. Yukio Yamai founded the original branch of the brand in 1958 in Sanjo City, Japan.
Last year, Yamai’s son Tohru Yamai moved to Portland to help establish Snow Peak USA’s presence and a connection between the two locations.

Also in celebration of its 20-year milestone, Snow Peak announced plans for it’s new U.S. flagship store and headquarters in Portland. The brand’s flagship base will be two levels and include retail space, headquarters space, exhibition space, a restaurant, and a bar.
