In 2018, California endured the largest and most destructive wildfire in its history. Allyn Pierce and his Toyota Tacoma — lovingly dubbed “The Pandra” for Pierce’s modest Instagram following — drove into and out of that fire to ferry people to safety.
Flames licked the mirrors, smoldering logs baked the tires — but The Pandra kept moving, and Pierce kept driving. An ICU nurse manager, he flipped into crisis mode, knowing there were still people stranded at the hospital where he worked.
What ensued became a seemingly apocryphal tale of heroism — and absolutely gnarly truck porn! The devastating Camp Fire erased the town of Paradise, Calif. But it couldn’t stop Pierce or The Pandra.
