Sierra Designs High Route Tent

Sierra Designs updates the High Route tent for 2019 with reduced weight and new colors. The brand managed to shed 12 ounces from the original — down to 1 pound 15 ounces packaged, or 1 pound 1 ounce with just the fly. The High Route one-person tent sports offset poles and vertical walls to give the perception of a ton of room inside. It costs $300 and is available now.

James Brand The Ellis Multitool

James Brand introduces a minimal multitool in solid colors with The Ellis tool. The Ellis gives users a knife, flathead screwdriver, scraper, and bottle opener. Its lockback design locks the tools in place for burlier tasks. And the drop-point blade uses Sandvik 12C27 steel. The Ellis is available only on Huckberry for $99.

BioLite HeadLamp 330

Perhaps the comfiest headlamp yet, BioLite’s HeadLamp 330 is now available to purchase. With a bulb incorporated into the headband, this headlamp sits flush on your head and aims to reduce bulk and bounce when maneuvering through the woods. Patagonia R1 Anniversary

An iconic technical fleece, the Patagonia R1 turns 20 this year. And it’s hard to believe that for 20 years, little has changed in its function. Yet for the fleece’s 20-year-old birthday, the brand updated the fabric and styles. Now, the R1 uses 93 percent recycled content and has an exclusive with Polartec for its Power Grid fabric. Plus, it now comes in a crew for women and Full Zip Hoody for both men and women. The R1 Pullover costs $169 and is available now. The R1 Women’s Crew costs $99.

Rep your favorite national park with Rumpl’s new series of puffy blankets. Because Rumpl partnered with the National Park Foundation for the series, each purchase helps support national parks. You can shop for Arches, Joshua Tree, and Yosemite blankets now. Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and Great Smoky Mountains release soon. The blankets cost $129.

Developed with a new lightweight-knit Polartec NeoShell, the fabric will retain the waterproof shell properties NeoShell is known for, even with a crazy amount of stretch. It weighs 220 grams for size small and packs into a rear pocket when the storm ends. The Magic Shell Jacket is available on Ornot’s site now for $210.

Stealth Razor Wallet

Place the Stealth Razor Wallet in your back pocket and hardly notice it’s there thanks to its ultrathin design. The Stealth Razor Wallet may be one of the thinnest wallets out there, made with a material rated 15 times stronger than steel. Placed next to a razor (pictured), you can see just how thin this wallet is. With offset credit card storage and a spot for bills, you can your items without adding bulk. The Stealth Razor Wallet is available on Kickstarter for $35.

Lizard Tail Belts

Flaunt your inner climber with a belt made from climbing rope. Just launched on Kickstarter, Lizard Tail Belts crafts its belts out of climbing rope with “knotless” technology. To tighten, simply pull one end through the loop and you’re good! The tech tightens itself, so you don’t have to worry about your pants slipping down. Currently, the brand prices one of its belts at $24.

Patagonia Men's Underwear

Patagonia launched a new line of men’s underwear last week, dubbed the Essentials and Senders. The brand uses recycled nylon and Tencel fabric, known for its comfort next to skin. The undies, which are Fair Trade Certified, are stretchy, quick-drying, and incorporate a non-rolling waistband. The essentials go for $32-34 and the Senders for $30.

Gerber Mullet

The Mullet is in — but not the hairstyle. Gerber launches its latest EDC multitool, dubbed the Mullet, a 9-in-1 tool that clips onto a keychain and operates as a pry bar, wire stripper, nail puller, flathead driver, cross driver, bottle opener, and ¼-inch hex driver. Throw it on your keychain and forget about it because it weighs only 0.7 ounces. The Gerber Mullet costs $10.

Ruffwear Service Dog Gear

Ruffwear introduces a product line for working dogs and handlers this season, plus an assistance harness for the visually impaired. With the UniFly Harness, the handler can feel subtle nuances in a guide dog’s movement, which enhances the feedback exchange between dog and person. And for service dogs, the brand releases an Audible Beacon to attach to Ruffwear collars that emits an audible beep every 10 minutes and can flash bright red. The complete line of working and service dog products are available now on Ruffwear’s site.

CarAIDE Jump-Starter

Revive your car after your battery depletes with CarAIDE, a handheld jump-starter. This small jump-starter operates as a 12-volt battery jumper and can also cut seatbelts, ring an alarm, break a car window, and has a light. And an internal 8,000mAh charger lets you charge smart devices. The CarAIDE operates with three rechargeable batteries and costs $59 on Kickstarter now.

Astral recycles leftover scraps from Realtree MAX-5 Camo for its Buck Fever BlueJacket PFD. Each PFD within this limited-edition color scheme is unique. But beyond the colors, the brand intends the PFD to be used for the sea, whitewater, fishing, and touring. It has a side-release buckle and is designed to eliminate ride-up. The Astral Buck Fever BlueJacket PFD in Realtree MAX-5 Camo costs $235.
