What’s better than a Garmin watch? One with Baby Yoda on it — obviously. OK, so perhaps your mileage may vary on a willingness to embrace Disney’s latest iconography. Luckily, cute baby aliens from The Mandalorian aren’t the only option for those looking to spruce up their Garmin.

The brand just announced a significant upgrade to its Connect IQ marketplace, enabling premium app purchases directly through Garmin Pay. This allows users to buy premium watch faces and apps directly from Garmin. Notable additions include watch faces from Disney, GoPro, Porsche, and TaylorMade.

You can buy all of them within the Connect IQ Store, and Garmin hopes the ease of use will attract more developers to the platform.

The new premium offerings start at $5 and include:

  • Disney watch faces: Including Grogu, Tony Stark, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse.
  • Porsche watch faces: Showcasing digital and analog designs inspired by Porsche.
  • TaylorMade watch face: A golf-themed face mimicking a TP5 golf ball.
  • Space-themed watch faces: Including Moonwalker, Ad Astra, and All-Day Astronaut designs.

GoPro Camera Control App

But there’s more than just aesthetic options on the Connect IQ App Store. Though several independent developers have created apps for using a GoPro camera from a Garmin watch, the brand has finally released an official one.

The new GoPro camera control app lets you start and stop recording and change modes (as in video, photo, and time lapse). You can also create and use various presets. Further, it lets you save multiple GoPro cameras to a pairings menu.

It’s available for a one-time fee of $6. Find it and other apps on the Connect IQ Store.
