Winner! “Just Add Bike” contest

We have a winner! Wirun Sae-lao of Rock Hill, S.C., was drawn randomly from the contestants in our “Just Add Bike” contest this week. Congrats, Wirun! After submitting the correct answers in our mini treasure hunt online, Wirun’s name was drawn from the dozens of virtual scavengers who completed the task.

Says Wirun: “I can’t believe I’m the winner! I love all outdoor activities. I like to take a long road trip out West for a weeklong backpacking adventure annually. I started riding a mountain bike last year and am doing my first long-distance race this fall at Shenandoah Mountain 100.” Sounds like Wirun will put the prizes — including Ibex’s Indie Short Sleeve Jersey, a Thule 962XT Speedway rack, and an official Gear Junkie Headsweats cap — to good use!

Thanks to all Gear Junkie readers who jumped into the treasure hunt online. Now, take the next step: In July, we are hosting our very first all-readers-invited event, the Gear Junkie’s “Treasure Hunt: Roanoke”!

The Treasure Hunt will be a “$40,000+ gear extravaganza” happening in Roanoke, Va., on July 11. Join the Gear Junkie team for a gear hunt the likes of which have never before been seen in the world outdoors. All details and registration forms are here:
