Germany-based KORUA Shapes makes some pretty uniquely shaped snowboards and splitboards. It also just made a gorgeous ski film.

Set in the mountains of Hokkaido, Japan, “Sunokeru” follows four snowboarders as they take on some of Japan’s sweetest powder. The film was created by a crew of just three filmmakers and four riders and focuses on a very simple concept: the beauty of ripping powder in a winter wonderland.

The film is entirely in black and white, though it’s anything but dull. There’s awesome close-ups, slow-motion powder flying, artful stunts, and sped-up footage of rapid-style turns. And the monochrome makes Hokkaido’s landscape look even more awesome.
