Time to Ski (Almost): Teton Gravity Releases ‘Make Believe’ Stoke Film

Teton Gravity Research just dropped a sweet teaser for its upcoming winter film.

If COVID-19 threw a wrench in your ski and travel plans this past spring, you aren’t alone. Luckily, Teton Gravity is staying positive and hoping for a great season in 2021. And to celebrate the spirit of winter, TGR’s new film highlights some of the best moments of the sport.

“For 25 years TGR has focused on turning ‘Make Believe’ into reality, from exploring powder stashes in our backyard playground to first descents on unnamed peaks. The ethos of ‘live the dream’ has defined our adventures. ‘Make Believe’ celebrates today’s athletes who have committed to this ethos,” wrote Teton Gravity about the film.

The film features footage of pro skiers like Sammy Carlson, Christina Lustenberger, Kai Jones, and more.

The sports company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is no stranger to ski films. In 2019, TGR released three different full-length ski and snowboard films, featuring over 30 athletes and filmed in eight countries. The full “Make Believe” film will debut later this fall.

Even better, you can now watch all your favorite ski films with Teton Gravity’s new exclusive streaming platform, which gives users access to 25 years of film and content. They’ll offer both a free version and a paid version, which will come with perks like discounted tour tickets, exclusive film access, and more.

TGR’s trailer for “Make Believe” is available on this streaming platform as well as TGR’s website. You can watch the trailer here.
