It’s time yet again for Throwback Thursday, when we bring you an old video (at least by YouTube standards). 

In this case, it’s a 9-year-old edit about making a snowboard underwater — yes, you read that correctly. In a stunt as endearing as it is ridiculous, a team from Signal Snowboards travels to New Zealand to bind together a snowboard using the natural pressure of deep water. 

Do they succeed? Kind of. Perhaps the “natural production” of snowboards needs some additional R&D, but the crew certainly has a good time. And where else will you see someone scuba diving with a snowboard?
