Road Trip: ‘Live Monumental’ Tour With KEEN

This summer, a crew from KEEN began a road trip across the country in an RV with a goal to gather support for protecting public lands. GearJunkie traveled along for a part of the journey.

With an objective to collect thousands of signatures for delivery to the Obama Administration, the “Live Monumental” tour is currently traveling on a course from Oregon to Washington D.C., visiting five potential new national monuments along the way.

Mountains, deserts, river canyons, and deep forests are among the wild lands that the “Live Monumental” tour is highlighting.

Locations include Mojave Desert in California; the Owyhee Canyonlands of Oregon; the Birthplace Of Rivers wilderness in West Virginia; the Boulder-White Clouds mountains of Idaho; and Gold Butte in Nevada.
