Lululemon designed its Hike collection to bring urban style to the trails. The collection’s materials and performance designs could make the layers a consideration for day hikes, camping, and backpacking trips.

Below, we provide a quick rundown of the tech you’ll find in the collection and highlight some key pieces.

Hike Collection Tech

As a brand, lululemon built a name for itself based on sweaty pursuits, helping usher in a style of athleisure that has become all-day, everyday wear.

Lululemon has already introduced the Hike collection’s tech in its other lines of activewear — with proven results, according to the brand. It comes as no surprise that the brand’s outdoor layers would carry over an emphasis on lightweight fabrics, breathability, and comfort.

The brand’s WovenAir fabric stretches four ways and is breathable, wicking, and quick-drying, according to lululemon. Similarly, its recycled polyester Breathelight fabric wicks and dries fast.

All that exposure to sweat can be a breeding ground for odor-causing bacteria. Hence, several of the hiking layers are treated with lululemon’s No-Stink Zinc tech, designed to keep offensive odors from ever settling in.
