More on the Prize Package

The Confluence Apex 1 is Salsaโ€™s light electric gravel bike with low-torque assist and frame space for hauling cargo. Its aluminum alloy frame and carbon fork are designed around a geometry that prioritizes a comfortable and stable riding position, especially at higher speeds.

The bike gets its e-assist power from the MAHLE X35+ Class 1 hub drive, which can crank out 40Nm of torque and a max speed of 20mph when needed. A 250Wh battery is nestled inside Confluenceโ€™s downtube and offers roughly 40 miles of range. Lastly, the frame offers a generous 700c x 50mm tire clearance.

More on the Brand

Salsa continues to draw from its background, which is informed by years of riding, repairing, and designing bikes. The brand developed the industryโ€™s first gravel race bike (Warbird) and full-carbon fat tire bike (Beargrease). Other notable Salsa designs include drop-bar bikepacking bikes like the Fargo and Cutthroat and mountain bike innovations like the Split Pivot.

Salsa believes that a life full of adventure is a better life. Riding bikes is one way people encounter the life-changing power of new places, new people, and unique experiences. So others can share in this, Salsa designs bikes and other products to match the desires and imagination of riders.

Whether it’s a weekday commute or touring new paths, Salsa makes frames for snappy rides or geometry for long hauls and makes room for carrying everything between day racks and full bikepacking setups.
