Love him or hate him, it’s impossible to not recognize that Lance Armstrong has lived one fascinating life. Now, it’s coming to the big screen.
The Program is based on the award-winning book “Seven Deadly Sins,” by David Walsh. It tells the story of Armstrong overcoming cancer, rising to fame and winning the Tour de France seven times, all while pulling off “one of the greatest deceptions in the modern era” in blood doping.
Staring Ben Foster, Chris O’Dowd, Guillaume Canet, and Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad), this looks like a thrilling flick. It premiers in the UK on Oct. 16th. A U.S. release date is not yet set.
