You’ve heard of building a cabin in the woods — but what about building a cabin on a lake? Well, one British Columbia man got the idea and moved on it.

David Ratzlaff calls his cabin on the Kinbasket Reservoir the “Marge Barge.” Sure, it resulted from a zany plan, but the end product goes exceptionally hard. Ratzlaff built the rig on a log barge out of excess materials from his work as a general contractor.

Spoiler alert: It’s a pretty far cry from a houseboat.
