B.C. Whitewater and NRS have partnered to launch a new short film that explores the wild and widely unknown watersheds of the Pacific and Boundary Mountain Ranges in British Columbia.
“We know a lot about what’s in there, but pretty much know enough to know that there’s a lot more we don’t know, so, we gotta go find out,” kayaker Chris Korbulic said.
According to NRS, Coast Mountain Chronicles offers a visual narrative spanning 3 years of whitewater adventure, from the Bishop River to the Kowatua and Klinaklini.
Join NRS, B.C. Whitewater, kayaker and filmmaker Todd Wells (of Dagger Kayaks) and crew on a river experience of epic proportion. One portion of the film will include Wells paddling 70 km of river, from the headwaters out to the Pacific, or, as he puts it, “a lot of unknown.”
For now, the 3-year project is boiled down to a 2-minute trailer. Just know, there’s more to come.
Runtime: 2.5 minutes
