The World’s Toughest Mudder is considered the hardest 100-mile (obstacle) race. This 2022 film focuses on three participants who competed in the deepest women’s field to date. The mud is muddy, the stakes are high, and this follow doc leaves nothing out.

Over 24 hours, Toughest Mudder competitors face 20 difficult obstacles per 5-mile loop, multiple water submersions, and temperatures that drop into the 30s Fahrenheit overnight. It’s a grueling, 24-hour race that requires bravery, grit, strength, and of course, a support crew.

Reigning Toughest Mudder champ and Coloradan Katie Knight, along with contending Coloradan Kris Rugloski and Illinois runner Hannah Carta, are the three competitors starring in the film.

It’s rainy, it’s cold, it’s muddy, it’s windy — it’s tough. Follow along with some Type II fun as the three runners strive to complete and crush the 20 laps (100 miles) first.
