You don’t have to love hunting to love this video. “RAIN LIKELY – An Alaskan Caribou Hunt” has everything an outdoor enthusiast could want in a YouTube video: luscious cinematography, a charismatic and likable main character, and plenty of inclement weather.

Over the course of 22 minutes, the team at Stone Glacier follows a self-described “hobby hunter” as he endures seemingly never-ending rain that threatens to derail his caribou hunt. After all, hunting caribou is pretty tough if all you see through your scope is a haze of fog!

No spoilers here; you’ll have to watch for yourself to find out if our hero bags his prey. But like most things, the journey — in this case, through the muted tones and eternal expanse of Alaska’s tundra country — matters more than the prize.
