Polaris is launching a new online sales portal — a site where you can buy, sell, or trade-in your powersports equipment. Polaris Xchange will list new and used vehicles, and the selection won’t be limited to just the company’s own rides.
The powersports company has taken notice that more buyers are looking online instead of heading to the showroom. For browsing, researching, and discovering new and used machinery like snowmobiles, motorcycles, side-by-sides, ATVs, and more.
Buyers today start their buying process before they leave the couch. Many of them want to end it before they leave the couch too. Polaris wanted to make sure it wasn’t missing out on being part of that process.
Polaris Xchange Offers One-Stop Shopping
Customers will be able to complete most of their purchases from home through participating dealers, Polaris says. That includes finding their new vehicle. It will also include things like pre-qualifying for a loan and getting a value for their trade. Buyers will even be able to shop for accessories or review and purchase protection plans.
Through the portal, customers will be able to sell their vehicle even without buying a new one. The site asks for a simple description of the condition of your trade and suggests you add some photos.
Once the form is filled in, you can get an estimated trade-in range in 60 seconds. Then go for a follow-up offer from a local Polaris dealer. Some dealers will even come to pick it up, so you can do the entire transaction from home.
Dealers Can List All-Brand Used Inventory
The Polaris Xchange site is exclusive to participating Polaris dealers. Those dealers will be able to list their new model inventory on the site.
Though only participating Polaris dealers will be listed on the site, it’s not limited to Polaris vehicles. Used powersports vehicles from all brands can be listed by Polaris dealers. Plus all brands can be sold or traded in by customers.
If you’re looking at buying a used powersports vehicle, Polaris offers a free vehicle history report. It says it’s the only one in the industry to offer that, along with a vehicle condition report.
