Merrell Jungle Moc Eco
Merrell’s latest venture is an eco-friendly, hemp-derived version of its Jungle Moc. The Jungle Moc Eco ($90) is made with a 100% recycled webbing upper, a 65% recycled polyester double-stretch gore, a 50% recycled EVA footbed, a 100% recycled mesh footbed liner, a 10% rice husk midsole, and a 20% rice husk outsole. That’s a whole lot of sustainable materials packed into one cozy slipper. It’s available in unisex sizes.
prAna Kromata Bomber Jacket
The Kromata Bomber Jacket ($289) is a new fall layer from prAna we’ve been eyeing for a bit now. The Kromata doesn’t shy away from warmth, but it also delivers a tinge of Nordic style. This bomber jacket has a shell with a PFC-free DWR on the outside and 650-fill power down on the inside. Faction Agent 4.0 POW Skis
Featuring art by Swiss skier Simon Charriere, the Faction Agent 4.0 x Protect Our Winters Skis ($849) are a wicked-cool piece of art. The skis aren’t just made in collaboration with POW but are also made to be sustainable. Laird Superfoods x Athletic Brewing Swell Beer
Surf legend Laird Hamilton partnered with Athletic Brewing to create its latest athlete-friendly, non-alcoholic beer: a surf-compatible tropical IPA. The Superfood Swell ($13 per six-pack) actually contains the same flavors as Laird’s superfood coconut creamer — mango and pineapple, with, of course, a bit of malted barley, wheat, and yeast to round out the “beer.”
Teva x Cotopaxi Collection
Cold-weather and fall gear is here. Teva and Cotopaxi have partnered for a fab collab, featuring Teva’s hallmark Teca Calido Insulated Jacket ($150) and ReEmber Slippers ($85), made with recycled uppers, foam filling, and midsoles in full Cotopaxi style. mountainFLOW Complete Wax Kit
B-corp wax manufacturer and sustainable ski product brand mountainFLOW is delivering on eco-friendliness and convenience with its new complete Wax Kit ($100). The wax is plant-based, and there’s a waxing iron, brush, scraper, and warm and cold wax included. Finally, it’s all wrapped up in reusable packaging and a spiffy case.
Untapped Maple Lemon Mapleaid
Untapped has been on the scene for a while now, supplying all sorts of athletes with its maple fix. But this fall, it’s dropping a new form for its ever-classic flavor. The Lemon Tea Mapleaid ($10 for five single servings) is now in a liquid concentrate form. Untapped switched from maple sugar (powder) to maple syrup (liquid) to keep the ingredients as pure as possible: organic maple syrup, organic lemon juice, organic black tea, and salt.
70mai Power Station Tera 1000
70mai’s Power Station 1000 (starting at $599) is a portable power station beast. It has a 1,000Wh capacity and offers four ways to charge (via AC, car, gas generator, or solar panel), and it can charge from zero to 80% battery in 70 minutes. Gnarly Nutrition Supplements in Recyclable Tins
Gnarly Nutrition is joining the pack of brands investing in sustainable packaging with its new recyclable tins. Gnarly says it’s the first sports nutrition brand in the industry to utilize recyclable steel cans (and move away from HDPE and PET plastic tubs). So far, Gnarly’s pre-workout supplement and BCAAs are available in the tins ($38 and up). Its protein supplements and collagen are also swapping to tins soon.
Café du Cycliste x 66°North Anorak
Designed for the “worst weather on earth,” these new styles are the result of a partnership between French cycle brand Café du Cycliste and Icelandic brand 66°North. The collection features layers like a fleece, a wind jacket, a bag, and, our favorite, a GORE-TEX INFINIUM Anorak ($415). It’s made with an ultralightweight GORE-TEX material and has a packable hood, a half-zip front, and a zippered pocket lined with reflective material.
