Weird Gear: Homemade Balloon Carries Man High

This is one of the stranger videos we’ve seen for a while, but it does feed the fantasy of building a homemade balloon to carry you high into the air — although we never realized a shotgun would be required equipment.

Rockstar athlete Erik Roner uses 50 tanks of helium and 90 balloons to lift himself, a lawn chair, a parachute and a shotgun more than 8,000 feet in the air. The way he gets down is certainly creative.
