The Common Loon is the state bird of Minnesota and for about 10 years the birds have captivated online fans via a Live Loon Cam on Minnesota Bound.com. Just a heads up — the stream opens with a 20-second ad.
This year’s loon has already laid two eggs. The incubation period is about four weeks, and wildlife fans are anxiously gathered around their screens to watch as it gets close to hatching.
