Federal officials from the Bureau of Land Management offered a $1,000 reward on Tuesday for information about a person who left dangerous nail-covered boards on a mountain bike trail near Carbondale, Colo.
According to a story in the Denver Post, someone left two boards with numerous sharp nails pointing upward on trails in the Prince Creek area.
The boards were left on a trail frequented by mountain bikers. The Glenwood Springs Post Independent reported the booby traps were found on the Creekside and Skillsaw trails.
