While it might be easy for certain climbing diehards to dismiss Momoa’s new show as mere filler, there are a few reasons to give it a try.
For starters, Momoa and Chris Sharma have known each other since they both started climbing. And the idea of an outdoor climbing competition that includes deep water soloing? That, my friends, is good television.
“We’ve decided to start a competition to inspire the next generation of climbers,” Sharma says in the trailer.
Maybe so, but it looks like there’s plenty of fun here for crusty old dirtbags, too.
