Wyoming Whiskey is debuting two new whiskey collections on April 20. And Harrison Ford is in on it.
Wyoming Whiskey is partnering with the National Park Foundation to host a live virtual auction of four special-edition whiskey bottles. The money will go to the NPF to preserve America’s national parks — just in time for National Park Week (April 17-25).
The Wide Open Spaces By Air Collection will be auctioned during a live virtual event. In honor of Wyoming’s wide-open spaces, the funds raised will benefit our nation’s public lands.
Separate from the auction, the Wyoming Whiskey National Parks Limited Edition label will be available to everyone at select retailers (more on that later).
Wyoming Whiskey ‘Wide Open Spaces’ Auction
Four “bespoke” bottles, each inspired by a different beloved outdoor space in Wyoming — Black Sand Basin, Hayden Valley, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone Lake — will be part of the auction, taking place on Tuesday, April 20, at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PST.
And get this — Harrison Ford led the art direction for the collection, in collaboration with photographer Tuck Fauntleroy and artist Jamison Sellers.
“For 35 years or so, I’ve been lucky enough to have a home in Wyoming. I am proud to work in conjunction with Wyoming Whiskey, my neighbors and friends, in support of the National Park Foundation,” said Ford.
“I’m very proud of what Wyoming Whiskey is doing with this event, as it is important to protect and restore these national treasures and keep them safe for future generations.”
Each of these special-edition bottles comes in a wooden case, decorated with Wyoming’s topography and hand-carved by Sellers. Fauntleroy put his touch on the labels, capturing aerial landscape photographs in his signature abstract style.
RSVP here to throw your hat in the ring for one of these babies. After all, it’s for a good cause.
National Parks Limited Edition Label
If that’s too rich for your blood but you still want to try some new whiskey, don’t worry. Also on April 20, Wyoming Whiskey will launch its all-new National Parks Limited Edition label. It will be available for purchase at ReserveBar, Flaviar, and select New York, Georgia, Colorado, and Wyoming retailers for $50.
