Icebreaker collaborated with Japanese design company Goldwin for a line of merino wool everyday wear. The items in the line are incredibly soft to the touch and hold all of merino wool’s natural properties. For a minimal and well-fitting merino sweater, look no further.

Flint and Tinder 10-Year Crew: $78

Flint and Tinder 10-Year Crew

Flint and Tinder’s 10-Year collection touts heavyweight fabrics in classic silhouettes, like a crewneck and hoodie. We’ve worn Flint and Tinder’s 10-Year clothing and attest to its durability and luxurious feel. The clothing has an excellent drape and feels like it very well could last 10 years.

Patagonia Recycled Cashmere Crew — Men’s & Women’s: $199

Patagonia Recycled Cashmere

Known for recycling just about anything, like Gore-Tex, Patagonia released a recycled cashmere collection last week. The Recycled Cashmere Crew is made of 95 percent recycled cashmere and 5 percent wool. Patagonia collects the cashmere from preconsumer scraps, breaks them down, and spins them into new yarn.

Goldwin Crew Neck Knit 7GG: $290

Goldwin collaborated with artist Geoff McFetridge for a collection of minimalist design T-shirts and sweaters. McFetridge was skiing in Hokkaido, Japan, one winter and encountered a fox in the snowy wood — hence the small fox adorned on each item of clothing.

Backcountry.com released its lifestyle collection this fall with outdoors-inspired clothing designed in-house. Part of that collection is the Grid Fleece Sweatshirt, sporting cuffs around the arms and waist, and a slight grid-like pattern along the whole sweater.
