The ‘Road To OR’ highlights a 1,200+ mile journey from GearJunkie headquarters in Minneapolis to Salt Lake City and the gear mecca that is the 2016 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market trade show.

Last month, GearJunkie teamed up with Columbia Sportswear and its “Directors of Toughness” to produce this video of the journey to Utah’s annual winter OR Show. Along the way, GearJunkie editors and the Columbia Sportswear ambassadors fat bike, ski, and climb Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest peak.

Shot and edited by Joshua Van Patter, the video includes gorgeous drone filming, p.o.v. scenes, and footage from the road as well as from the outdoor adventures had along the way.
