The TeleHex is a single tool that works on multiple hex sizes. It is probably lighter and smaller than the tool in your bike pack now.

TeleHex-red

The TeleHex is a self-adjusting allen wrench that fits either a 3, 4, 5, or 6mm allen bolt (we wish it went to 8mm).

Instead of having separate allen heads like a standard multi-tool, the TeleHex uses a system of slide-away shells to match whatever size allen bolt you’re putting the tool into. Just simply press the allen head into the bolt and turn. No more fumbling around trying to figure out what size bolt it is.

Ultra-Light Bike Tool

Weighing in at just 1.3 ounces and about the size of your thumb, the TeleHex is smaller and lighter than almost any wrench set on the market.

For comparison, my Crank Brothers tool with seven hexes, three screwdrivers, and a chain tool weighs 6.3 ounces. It packs a lot more punch with those tools, but when bikers spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars to shed grams, the ultra-light TeleHex is a weight-weenie’s dream.

The Wrench is able to torque up to 15 newton-meters of force, more than enough to unstick a bolt on your whip or make a quick adjustment.

Made from machined aluminum and nickel-plated tool steel, you won’t have to worry about the tool rusting.

This is an innovative solution to carrying around a bulky allen set. We’re excited to test this technology to see how it works in the field. It is priced now via an early bird deal of $29 on the company’s Kickstarter page.
