Ok, this is not your average bicycle, and François Gissy is not your average cyclist, but still, this video is just crazy. Clearly others agree, as it’s been viewed more than 3 million times in just a couple days.
The 32-year-old Frenchman makes several passes in the video, including breaking a Bicycle World Record at 207 miles per hour, and crushing a Ferrari 430 Scuderia in a drag race.
He hit top speed in 4.8 seconds.
Think about that: 207 miles per hour in 4.8 seconds. On a bicycle. Makes the pupils dilate just thinking about it. The record-setting run took place on November 7th of 2014, at the Circuit Paul Ricard track at Le Castellet in the South of France.
The bike was designed by Gissy’s friend Arnold Neracher. The stripped and skinny-tired rocket bike ran the quarter mile in less than 7 seconds.
