Skis? Check. Boots? Check. Poles? Check — let’s go surfing!
This isn’t the first ski-surfer video on the internet, but Chuck Patterson riding some glassy smooth waves in Hawaii in this Willy Bogner video is just too good, and odd, to pass. Fun, dorky or just plain goofy, Bolgner does get some good tow-in rides. I just wonder how one swims in ski boots! I’m guessing there’s a life jacket under that lycra. —Sean McCoy
