Faction Skis’ full-length ski film, ‘The Collective,’ is an immersive overview of pro skiing. This film is all of that and more, with chilling POV footage and even harder lines.
Faction athlete and mountain guide Sam Anthamatten and Faction’s rookie skier of the year, Andrew Pollard, took to the slopes in the Swiss Alps to conquer new peaks — and maybe some fears.
The top of the peaks are nothing short of narrow, treacherous, and somehow still inviting. But the lines the skiers picked to get down? “It’s the steepest shit I’ve ever skied,” said Pollard. And after watching from his point of view, I’d probably agree.
The skiers fly down the peak, their shadows jumping across the slope, clouds of snow hanging in their wake.
The film, only 5 minutes, showcases some of the coolest and craziest POV footage these skiers have attempted: heavy on the pow, heavy on the speed, heavy on the thrill.
“The Collective” was filmed in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, and produced by Faction Skis.
