In September 2022, bike trip outfitter Big Mountain took Barelli and five clients across South America on a 9-day retreat to experience biking at its finest.
Big Mountain partnered with Cusco locals Nicolás and Vicente Chirinos, two brothers, lodge owners, and guides, to curate the experience.
“[It’s] mind-blowing,” Yoann stated about the local topography. “From rocky and loose to super fast and flowy to super fast and gnarly … it has it all.”
And beyond biking, “Peru is a beautiful country with very deep, mystic connection with nature, the land, and people,” Yoann added.
