Now, I’ve been a bit out of touch with the climbing world as of late. I’d heard of this feat, but until today had not come across this video, which shows Potter soloing the 3,600-foot monolith in Yosemite, French-free and much un-roped.
This video is a few months old; the GoBlog, for example, posted it last fall. But, dang, wow, I’m of a mind to dig out my shoes and chalk bag this weekend after watching this kind of granite porn.
