Fred Beckey: A Pioneer Of Climbing
Now in his 93rd year of life and (at least) 74th year of climbing, Beckey continues to mystify those who know him best. That is perhaps why the man who bagged hundreds of first ascents and broke records through six decades was excluded from the initial American Everest expedition.
The film is slated for a 2017 release, thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. But the overwhelming support for the film has launched another stretch goal to enhance and finalize production. Check out the updated Kickstarter page for more info.
