In an effort to spread its “clothing for a positive change” philosophy, the outdoor apparel brand prAna is launching the Dream Job Promotion. Through this contest, prAna is looking for one adventurous person who is willing to quit their day job and go after their dream job. And to make it a little easier, the lucky winner will get $100,000 to spend as they wish.
Similar to Tepui’s Dream Road Trip and Columbia’s Director of Toughness gig, this is the type of once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could truly change your life. Or, at the very least, it could give you a really good story for the next campfire gathering.
How to Enter the Dream Job Promotion
Entry for the Dream Job Promotion is surprisingly easy and open to creativity. Applicants must submit a 1- to 3-minute video detailing what their current job is and what their dream job would be.
The judge panel is looking for an original and inspirational story. Bonus points for infusing your entry video with passion. And, of course, be sure to let your personality shine through. As the application page explains, “If you’re an aspiring filmmaker, include an example of your work; if your dream is to be a pastry chef, show us your dishes.”
Submission is open August 15 through September 16. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and residents of the U.S.
