Trailer: Wenger Patagonian Exped Race 2011

The long-awaited trailer for the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race is here! Check out me (crazy and out of my mind) at about 42 seconds into the clip. (Voice: “Where are we Stephen?” Me: “I have no clue.”) I was so zonked here, one of the lowest physical points of my racing career. Happy it was caught on film for all to see!

Props to director/producer Brian Leitten and the entire media and film crews who braved the wilds of Chile and followed the teams deep into the wilderness to get this footage. The full film is debuting at fests around the world this spring, and it will soon be for sale online. Until then, this montage hopefully can motivate you to get outside and push some limits! In Chile this past winter, I know I did.

—Stephen Regenold raced in Patagonian Chile in 2010 and 2011 as captain of Team GearJunkie/YogaSlackers. The team took 2nd place in this year’s event. More about the Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race is here on GearJunkie’s exclusive 2011 WPER channel.
